Under the agreement, the two companies will capitalize on the rapid expansion of the European energy storage market by leveraging their combined strengths in industrial chains, advanced technology, and market resources to build a comprehensive, full-lifecycle cooperation system. Based on this strategic consensus, the parties signed a 5GWh framework agreement for large-scale energy storage systems. The partnership spans project design, product supply, on-site commissioning, O&M support, spare parts supply, and battery decommissioning and recycling, creating a closed-loop overseas service ecosystem. This signing marks the formal implementation of the cooperation intentions previously established at the Smarter E Europe exhibition, laying a solid foundation for deep market synergy.

KK Group is the only wholly-owned subsidiary in the new energy industry under the A.P. Moller Group, one of the world's largest shipping conglomerates. As a leading European energy technology service provider, KK Group possesses deep expertise in wind power, energy storage, and power control, with extensive experience in meeting local grid standards and market entry requirements. CORNEX brings industry-leading capabilities in battery cells and system integration, which highly complement KK Group’s proficiency in wind power converters, electrical control systems, and AC-side integration. Together, they will provide efficient and reliable one-stop energy storage solutions to support grid peak shaving and renewable energy integration across Europe.

Looking ahead, CORNEX remains committed to an open and win-win collaborative philosophy. By joining forces with KK Group, CORNEX aims to establish a benchmark for China-Europe cross-border cooperation in the new energy sector, accelerating the deployment of high-quality storage projects and contributing to Europe’s ambitious carbon neutrality goals.
